Apple macOS Monterey: Flaws with T2 Chips Now See Restore, Nevertheless You Might Should Have it Serviced

0

Apple’s macOS 12 Monterey has launched in the last week of October, but it has shown several problems for some of its releases, appearing to those that have the T2 chips from the company. It was said that the flaw may have compromised the computer, but the company has already worked on a fix regarding this release.

KRAINE – 2021/06/07: In this photo illustration the macOS Monterey logo on an Apple website seen displayed on a smartphone screen with an Apple logo in the background. Apple has started its Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC), an information technology conference, where it presented the iOS 15, iPadOS 15, macOS 12 and watchOS 8.

According to tech influencer Rene Ritchie, a statement from Apple that was released internally has addressed the issue of the macOS 12 Monterey as it first brought problems to the computers. The issue has affected a lot of users because of its “new release bugs” and has caused different problems to their Macs.

The issue was fixed now, and while it was not reiterated by Apple with regards to its announcement, the bugs that were initially seen are now out of the picture. Users are said to experience better integration now, as per Apple. However, if any problem was to be experienced by users, they needed to bring their computers to service, says the Cupertino giant.

According to Engadget, the flaws of the macOS 12 Monterey have affected the Intel-based Macs more than the present chip and later releases. It has caused the “bricking” problem that the computer has suffered from, with regards to this release by the company.

It also presented other bug issues that affected the use of the computer overall.

Apple’s macOS: Monterey vs. Big Sur

Apple’s macOS is one of the top regarded computer operating systems on the platform and industry now, but the Monterey release has not been that much of a success for the public, with a lot comparing it to the Big Sur. 2020’s macOS Big Sur was a massive success, and it has been one of the top regarded releases of computer software in a long-time.

Big Sur was the transition from Intel-based Macs to the M1 Silicon Chip that was designed and made by Apple, something that went away from the T2 security chips and other components from previous releases. The transition needed the Rosetta software as developers were not yet ready for its change, but Big Sur has shown massive promise in the software’s release.

The Monterey has not done the same, and its transition from the old operating system was not as smooth as expected, particularly those with pre-M1 Macs from the company. The fix now took care of things, but it seems that service may be needed for some, especially those that have shown further damage than what was originally conceived.

Twitter For iOS Rolls Out New Search Button In Particular person Profiles

0

With Twitter letting users tweet and retweet, the timeline of a user’s profile can be a bit messy and hard to navigate, especially if that person is an avid tweeter and might post multiple times during the day.

If you’re trying to search for a specific tweet by a specific user, according to a report from XDA Developers, it appears that Twitter has started to roll out a new search feature for user profiles. In the app, users should be able to see a search button on a user’s profile page (including their own).

This will let users search for tweets that are specific to that user, instead of having to search the entirety of Twitter to find what they are looking for. If you don’t see the feature yet, don’t worry because it appears that it could be rolled out in stages where some users are reporting they don’t have it yet, while others do.

That being said, this isn’t actually a new feature per se. Twitter has in the past allowed users to search for tweets specific to users, but they had to use the “From:Username Term” shortcut. This meant that not everyone would have known about it, but this update will make it easier. If you don’t have the feature yet, you can still use the shortcut to the same effect.

‘Hogwarts Legacy’ may be releasing in late 2022 in response to Warner Bros

0

As spotted by VGC, the potential release window was mentioned in Toy World Magazine, a physical trade magazine for toy retailers. The magazine interviewed Warner Bros. general manager of consumer products UK and Ireland Rachel Wakley. They referred to “two major releases in 2022”, the first being the third film in the Fantastic Beasts franchise, The Secrets of Dumbledore. The second release is the upcoming Hogwarts Legacy game, which was delayed in January of this year.

Currently, the game has an official release date of 2022, but Wakley’s statement seems to suggest that the game won’t be released until after Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore comes out earlier in the year.

“From what we’ve seen,” Wakley added, “the launch will be well worth the wait and deliver a unique way for fans to interact with the franchise”.

According to the game’s official website, “Hogwarts Legacy is an immersive, open-world action RPG set in the world first introduced in the Harry Potter books. Now you can take control of the action and be at the centre of your own adventure in the wizarding world. Embark on a journey through familiar and new locations as you explore and discover fantastic beasts, customise your character and craft potions.”

Set in the 1800s, players will control a student at Hogwarts who can control and cast Ancient Magic.

In related news, the mobile AR title Wizards Unite will be closing its doors next January, with a myriad of extra content coming to the game before it starts to shut down this December.

Genshin Have an effect on’s Clarification For Why Geo Strikes Don’t Work Angers Avid gamers

0

Genshin Impact developer miHoyo’s recent explanation as to why Geo moves don’t always work has angered players. This is, unfortunately, quite commonplace for miHoyo, which is just getting over player outrage over lackluster anniversary rewards in Genshin Impact. Although the Chinese developer placated the players by giving away free rewards, the latest outcry over Genshin Impact‘s mechanics not working the way players believe they should is causing quite the issue.

Throughout 2021, Genshin Impact players have been reporting a bug where Geo structures would not form on surfaces that contained water. The issue became especially troublesome in the Oceanid boss battle, which requires the player to clear enough waves to allow the Oceanid to destroy itself. Geo characters like Zhongli, Albedo, and Ningguang have all been affected by this bug. As a result, many Genshin Impact players have expressed their frustration with the developers over this issue.

After the continuous complaint from the Genshin Impact community, miHoyo finally responded to the topic. On November 7, 2021, miHoyo stated that this is actually not a bug but an intended feature for the game. The developers noted that players can freeze the water on the Oceanid floorwhich would stabilize the surface and allow players to spawn a Geo there. While this response seems plausible on its face, a Reddit thread posted by JonathanlW shows just how upset some fans are.

The Chinese developer’s statement to the community upset many of the Genshin Impact players and received considerable backlash. In the comments of the Reddit thread, players accused miHoyo of being untruthful, even accusing the developer of covering up an existing issue because they don’t want to put in the work to fix it. Others have said this is just the result of lazy and poor game design. Players have also pointed out that Albedo and Ningguang’s abilities actually float rather than touching any surface, which could provide an easy fix for this issue.

This is also not the first time players have seen abilities not work correctly. Back in September 2021, the five-star Genshin Impact character Kazuha had a glitch that caused the character to die after using the Chihayaburu ability. As it stands for now, though, Geo users will either have to continue with the nerf or perhaps find an Electro user for water-based fights. Perhaps players will, begrudgingly, take the developer’s advice as to how to make the Geo moves work in Oceanid battles or miHoYo will revisit the issue in the future. Whatever the case may be, Genshin Impact players will have to figure out how to navigate these battles with Geo characters.
